This design is located within Cathays in Cardiff, south Wales. The Catheys area is known as being the student area within Cardiff as 80% of residents here are students. These students are coming from all over the world and therefore spend much of their time in Bland waiting rooms in airports and train stations. This design was intended as a remedy for that.
The aim of this design was to create an otherworldly experience that could be used as a getaway for these students. The building is to be a performing arts centre; a place where creativity and imagination is celebrated.
